Sydney has successfully defended clients in an array of criminal matters, ranging from civil infractions to capital felony charges. She has also successfully represented clients in divorce proceedings, child custody & parenting time modification matters, and civil matters. Mrs. Rushing is dedicated to her clients and possesses a great passion to protect the rights of others and help to help others through some of toughest times of their lives.
Sydney was born and raised in Indiana. She was a four sport athlete and was a leader on her teams. Being an athlete has shaped Mrs. Rushing’s career in allowing her to represent her clients aggressively, tactfully, and having the mindset to never back down from even the biggest of challenges. Sydney graduated from Adrian College in 2011 with a BA in Business Administration and currently serves on the Law Advisory Board. She then went on to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she was 1 of 10 students inducted into the National Order of the Barristers in 2014. Mrs. Rushing graduated from UDM Law in May 2014.
