Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to come into the office for meetings?

No! Since our practice areas are litigation based, we are in and out of court most days. Our law firm is a virtual law firm, meaning we conduct almost all our business virtually. Long gone are the days that you had to take time off work, dress up, and go to your attorneys office for a meeting (that likely could have been an email). All meetings, except those that require a “Wet” signature, are conducted via Zoom or phone call. Clients also prefer this method as they do not have to take time off work, find a baby sitter, spend time/money/gas/mileage to come see us.

How do I know if you are the right law firm for me?

Talk to us! We also encourage you to talk to other attorneys as well. This is your matter, and you will be working with which ever attorney you decide to move forward with, so you need to make sure you are comfortable with them. But never hire just a lawyer, you need to hire a trial lawyer. Trial lawyers go to trial. And we go to trial.

What do I do if I am pulled over by police?

You should cooperate with the officers and obey their commands. Keep answers short and do not give any answers that can be taken as an admission – simple “yes officer, no officer”. If questions are inquiring as to details or more indepth, simply say you decline to answer.

How much are your fees?

Our fees are based on our extensive knowledge, experience, and work ethic.

Fees are determined on a case by case basis. Every case, and it’s circumstances, are unique. What one case requires, another may not. So we quote our fees based on the information we receive during the consultation. In most instances, we are able to quote a flat fee. In other instances, we do a combination of flat fee + hourly (you will know the minimum, but it potentially could be more). We have retainer agreements that outline everything so there is no surprise as to fee.
